Buck, buck, buck

I chickened out big time this morning. Apparently, when the Weather Channel says it is 14 degrees outside, that is my lower threshhold for wanting to bike into work. There is no way my face would have survived without a balaklava of some sort. The walk to the subway was bad enough. Plus, someone this weekend kicked my rear wheel and slightly tacoed it. It rubs on the left brake pad once every revolution. I have to get the fixed soon, as it seemed to get worse on my ten minute ride to the post office Sunday. Don't want to have a failure of some sort.
It was a good cold this morning, though. When I got into the building, my legs had that slightly tingly, alive feeling. It makes you feel good when you come out of the cold and into a warm building.

Been awhile

I wondered when I would fall of from doing this thing semi-regularly. I figured it would take a month, but it was less than that. I got caught up preparing for a conference that was the week after Thanksgiving. I just didn't even think about this. So I lost a bit before T-day, T-day holiday, and the conference. Hopefully I can have some more thoughts between now and my end that will take up some space here.
